Soans’ “Terrorists” ruling Tehran Molavi Hall
“Talking to Terrorists” is the outcome of Soans’ interviews with a number of people, who have been involved in terrorist acts and scores of terrorist victims.
The play has been translated into Persian by Ghazaleh Forutan and Naghmeh Samini has dramatized it.
Farhad Tafreshi, Asghar Hesami, Vahid Nafar, Mehdi Shah-Piri, Abbas Kholqi, Sahand Jafarizad, and Behruz Panahandeh are the main members of the cast.
Payam Forutan himself has designed the stage of his theater.
He had already worked as stage designer for Kiumars Moradi’s award-winning drama “Dream in an Empty Cup”.
“Talking to Terrorists” was performed by celebrated British director Max Stafford-Clark at the Royal Court Theater in London last year.
Critics believe that Soans has taken dictation from politicians, hostages, and terrorists to compile this documentary asking what terrorism is, what motivates it, and what to do about it.
“Talking to Terrorists” opened at the Molavi Hall on June 18 and will be running for a month.
